The 1.17.1 update for Minecraft has finally come out! Now you want to play with your friends to explore the new features. In this video, you will learn how to make your own server so that you don’t have to pay for Minecraft server hosting. There may be some new things you need to know if you’ve made a server on any of the previous versions before, but this video will cover everything you need to know.

Keep in mind that this server will be hosted from your IP address, so do not make it public and only share it with your trusted friends. The first thing you need to do is download the .jar file that you can find on the Mojang website. The video will show you what to do in case anything does not go right as you do this.
